Market Neutral Strategy

Celenian employs a Long-Short Equity strategy in the U.S. market, the most active and liquid financial market in the world.

This strategy takes full advantage of the highly developed ecosystem of individual stocks, options, warrants, and other derivatives in the U.S.

Our Long-Short approach is designed to maintain a market-neutral risk profile over the short- to mid-term horizon, while seeking returns that outperform traditional deposit and bond yields through disciplined, research-driven position management.

Long-term Investing Strategy (10-10-10 Portfolio)

Celenian focuses on identifying and investing in the highest-quality U.S. companies with strong mid- to long-term growth potential. Our 10-10-10 Approach targets top-tier businesses capable of sustaining annual growth of 10% or more for the next 10 years. Based on this principle, we build a concentrated and diversified portfolio of approximately 10 high-value stocks.

To select these companies, we conduct a comprehensive evaluation across multiple dimensions, including:

  • Long-term industry growth potential

  • Competitive positioning and market leadership

  • Capacity for self-sustained growth (financial strength and cash generation)

  • Effective leverage and balance sheet management

  • Shareholder-friendly management practices

Top-Down ETF Allocation

Celenian seeks to maximize risk-adjusted returns through strategic investments in U.S.-listed ETFs.

By analyzing key U.S. economic indicators and market signals, we determine our Risk-On / Risk-Off positioning and construct the final portfolio using a top-down approach.

Through dynamic allocation, adjusting investment weights in line with Risk-On/Risk-Off cycles, we aim to enhance returns while reducing overall volatility, delivering a more stable and efficient performance profile.

U.S. Real Assets

Through its strategic network in the United States, Celenian focuses on identifying under-valued or under-performing real estate assets with strong turnaround potential. By acquiring and repositioning these properties, we aim to generate superior, risk-adjusted returns for our clients.

In addition, Celenian invests in real estate–backed credit instruments, seeking stable and attractive income while mitigating downside risk through the use of high-quality collateral. This dual approach—value-add real estate and collateralized credit—enables us to capture upside opportunities while maintaining disciplined risk management.

Private Equity

Celenian invests in promising Korean small- and mid-sized private companies with strong future growth potential from a long-term perspective.

By evaluating each company’s underlying capabilities and growth drivers, we acquire voting shares to secure management influence when appropriate. Through the execution of targeted value-enhancement initiatives, Celenian aims to maximize enterprise value and drive sustainable growth for the portfolio companies.

IPO Investments

Celenian primarily invests in KOSPI and KOSDAQ IPOs by participating in institutional investor book-building processes.

By assessing each company’s intrinsic value, market environment, and long-term growth prospects, we selectively participate in offerings from high-quality, undervalued IPO candidates with strong future potential.

To enhance overall returns, Celenian also utilizes opportunities such as high-yield bonds with IPO allocation benefits and KOSDAQ venture investments, which provide preferential IPO allocations and additional upside potential.

Special Situations

Celenian leverages its internal professional network to identify and access unique investment opportunities arising from special situations.

Through flexible and adaptive investment solutions, we respond efficiently to changing market conditions and capture opportunities that require speed, creativity, and structural expertise.

These investments are typically executed on a project-by-project basis, allowing for tailored deal structuring and targeted return generation.
